Make your own coasters
 Materials you will need-
Ceramic tiles (you will find these at Home Depot or Lowe's)
Mod Podge (I like like the satin or lustre finish)
Sponge paint brush/applicator
several pieces of decorative cardstock
scissors
felt
hotglue
Water proof Sealant (Krylon brand, found with the spray paint in stores)

Clean off and dry your tiles.  Cut your papers in the size that you desire.  They can take up the entire surface of the tile or you can have a little bit of the tile showing.
With the sponge brush, coat the tile in a thin layer of Mod Podge.  Place your square of cardstock in the center of the tile, smooth out to make sure there are no air bubble.  Allow to dry 5 minutes, smoothing out when needed to ensure there are no air bubbles.  Make sure you press the corners down.
Apply 2 thin coats of the mod podge on top of the tile once your cardstock is stuck on, smoothing out to make sure there are no air bubbles. Wait about 3-4 minutes between coats.

In a well ventilated area outside spray the waterproof sealant on the coasters.  You will need to applications of this.  Wait 5 minutes between applications

Once dry, cut circles or triangles from the felt and glue to the back of the coasters, this will ensure the coasters won't scratch up the table they are sitting on.

*Ideas*  Instead of using cardstock you can use pictures from books, pictures of your kids, pictures from comic books, etc.  I have a husband and brother who are both huge comic nerds, so I went to the comic book store picked up a couple of cheap comic books and cut pictures out of the comic and used instead of the card stock...they LOVED them.

Your finished product!
